Amped Up Learning is the perfect name for a place where you can find some awesome teaching resources that have been created with great care by teachers for teachers. Amped Up Learning is a marketplace that was started by two teachers and created for teachers to sell their teaching products.
The Teacher Contributors and I have been busy creating teaching resources on Amped Up Learning and I am pleased to let you know that we will be having a sale.
Our Teacher Contributors create teaching resources based on research, standards, and create quality lessons, games, activities, centers, and worksheets that both teachers and students need.
Every day, leading up to the beginning of the sale on Thursday, I am going to be highlighting different teaching resources created by the Teacher Contributors of Amped Up Learning. The sale begins Friday, August 31st to Monday, August 3rd.

The Inspiring Teacher Podcast with Danny Hauger
The Inspiring Teacher - Inspiring Friends Podcast with Danny Hauger
Danny Hauger, Inspiring Teachers Blog
I recently got to meet Danny Hauger on Zoom. This young man
has a remarkably interesting skill set. He is an entrepreneur. Danny was born
in Stockton, California. (Hmm,
California, that probably influenced what he is doing now.)
Musician
Podcast
I asked him, “Why
start a podcast?”
Visit the Inspiring Teachers Podcast and listen to some of their
fascinating podcasts!
I had the privilege
to be interviewed by Danny and Tavis on their podcast, Inspiring Teachers. But
. . . you’ll hear more about that in my next blog article.
I am going to give credit to Amped Up Learning. AUL is sponsoring these gentlemen in their podcast endeavors to highlight and promote teachers. Amazing!
Danny Hauger and Tavis Beem invited three Teacher Contributors from Amped Up Learning to be interviewed on the Podcast called Inspiring Teachers.
I will reveal a secret: Danny is a Teacher Contributor on Amped Up Learning. Sadly, I don't his store name. :(
The three of us were given the opportunity to talk about the current school situation and the type of products we are making in response to teachers' current needs. We also got to show off one of our products. This was my first opportunity to be in a podcast. I have to say that I really did enjoy it. Danny and Tavis made it a smooth experience. Here is the link to the Inspiring Teachers-Inspiring Friends podcast. Check us out!!

Homeschool Holiday
In 2018, Christy Serra Gandara began to create teacher resources.
Her store is Homeschool Holiday on Amped Up Learning.
Christy says, “I had always put my own twist on things, even way back in 1994 when I had my students map where the major league baseball teams were located on the first day of spring training.”
I totally agree with her, if you take a look at the different products she has in her store, you will feel like you are in a teacher candy store. Teachers, you will appreciate these candies because they have substance! She provides unique teaching resources based on daily calendar holidays. What fun! Students would have fun and be engaged in their learning.
I took some screenshots of part of her store on Amped Up Learning.

Christy Serra Gandara-Teacher Contributor on Amped Up Learning
I asked Christy why she became a teacher. You will enjoy reading her response.
“One afternoon, when I arrived to volunteer to teach for our Church’sShe said she knew I wanted to be a teacher and I should have these for when I was ready. (At the time, I was in high school and dreaming of becoming a lawyer.) I had never said anything to this woman about becoming a teacher – but I wasn’t about to argue with a Nun! So, I politely took the box. I guess it was God’s way of planting the seed because I did change course along the way and have no regrets.”
Well, I'm glad she didn't become a lawyer! She was meant to be a teacher! Just take a look at this product she has made, Oreo Cookie Stacking Challenge. A friend of mine, 3rd-grade teacher, bought this teacher resource from Christy's store, Homeschool Holiday. Anyway, I got a sneak-peak at it and I'm going to tell you about it.
It is very well organized! It is a project the students can do independently. There are task cards that tell the students what their jobs are in performing the challenge. There are graphic organizers so that students can make predictions, record the results, and analyze the data. This packet includes anchor charts that teachers can display for students to guide them with the mode, mean, median, and range. You will love the many tools that have been included in this packet for both the teacher and the student!
I have more to share about this Teacher-Contributor. Soon . . . very soon!

Christy Serra-Gandara, Homeschool Holiday
Christy Serra-Gandara is a Teacher Contributor for Amped Up Learning. Her store name is, Homeschool Holiday. She creates teacher resources for grade levels 3-5. She has an amazing assortment of fun, academic products!
When Christy's kids were old enough to go to school, she made the decision to homeschool them herself. You will love this story that she shared with me about the beginning of homeschooling her kids. She did not want her kids to call her ‘mom’ all day. It was awkward for her to have them call her ‘Mrs. Gandara’.
Happy Hive (then the Gandara Bug Academy). - Mrs. Crabtree... the name comes from the teacher in the Little Rascals television show. One year, her kids wanted to leave the Christmas tree standing, and they did just that. This inspired her! She came up with the idea to base their lessons on the holiday of the day. She totally loved doing this! This story will help you to see the reason for the type of resources, she creates for teachers.
